Eugene's obituary

Eugene Michael Williams, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed

away peacefully on May 14, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado, at the age of 69.

Born on September 25, 1955, in Pineville, Louisiana, Eugene was a man full of life, laughter,

and love — a soulful spirit who walked his own path with pride. He proudly served his country

in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman, and carried that same loyalty, strength, and

integrity into every chapter of his life.

A lifelong mechanic and entrepreneur, Eugene had a gift for fixing just about anything with his

hands — cars, bikes, you name it — and a knack for making people feel seen, heard, and cared

for. He was a true jack of all trades, always showing up when you needed him with a joke, a

helping hand, or a story that could fill a room with laughter.

Eugene found joy in the simple, beautiful things — the rhythm of a good song, the breeze on his

face while spending time outdoors, and the thrill of cruising in his old-school car. He cherished

the freedom of being a man of his own making. Music moved his soul from childhood to

adulthood, and his love for it was only matched by his love for his family. He believed in living

life fully, freely, and on his own terms — never boxed in, never controlled, always true to

himself. Above all, he was a protector at all costs.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sabrina L. Williams; his daughters, Camillia L.

Davis (and her husband Brad) and Jasmine L. Williams; and his treasured granddaughter, Zariah

L. Williams-Saintil.

He also leaves behind his brothers, Samual Williams (wife, Valerie), Burnell Williams Sr. (wife,

Sara), and Leroy Williams Sr. (wife, Patricia), along with many nieces, nephews, and countless

others who saw him as a mentor, father figure, or friend.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Clara Williams; his brother, Fred

Williams Jr.; and his sisters, Clara B. Williams, Leona Rax, Opal M. McGillander, and Patricia

Gill.

Eugene’s legacy is one of strength, loyalty, freedom, and love. His presence lit up every space he

entered, and his spirit — bold, kind, and untamed — will live on in all who had the honor of

knowing him.

He will be cremated June 10, 2025 and the family will hold a Celebration of Life with details to

follow.

As Eugene often said, “Live for today, because tomorrow’s not promised.”
