Eugene and his loving wife Sabina’s attended my high school football game and I did not play one minute.  He stayed for the entire game .  I never will forget that.

Whenever he and I was in the Aurora Town Center having a bite to eat, he often bought a meal for this one gentleman who sat quietly by himself. Giving and doing generous deeds like this came natural and from his heart. I will always remember his kindness to others who cause no harm to anyone. Good deeds are always needed. It doesn’t take much to lift another person up. Show a little tenderness. “Sabrina” 💕

When I was younger, Eugene was like a second father to me. He was there for me in a time when I felt very alone. The man was a saint the way he wanted to take care of his community and his family, and for the way he put up with me and jasmines endless shenanigans. He was so funny and had great taste in music- I still listen to a lot of the jams he introduced me to today. Both gentle and strong, he taught me so much and made me feel safe. I’ll never forget that or underestimate the impact he made in my life going into my adult years. Eugene, the earth was a better place because of you and any of us were privileged to cross your path.
