Eugene's obituary

Eugene Gabriel Collett, also known as Gene, passed away on May 24, 2024, in Newton, Massachusetts, at the age of 60. He was born on May 5, 1963, in Waltham, MA. Gene was a caring father, husband, brother, and friend.

He leaves behind his wife, Linda LeLievre Collett of Waltham, his two sons, Timothy Collett of Holly Springs, North Carolina, Tyler Collett of Dedham, Massachusetts, as well as his brothers and sisters, Paul Collett of Waltham, Cynthia Mungeon of Pembroke, Georgia, Leta Reale of St. Petersburg, Florida, William Collett of Natick, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Collett, and his siblings, Jerome, Brian, Norman, and Helen Collett.

Gene attended Waltham Vocational High School in the Autobody Trade. He dedicated many years of his career to working at Raytheon as a painter for radar and missile systems equipment. In his free time, Gene enjoyed riding motorcycles.
