Ethel (Traylor) Sutton, age 91, was born August 6, 1933 and passed away October 26, 2024 in her home. She is last of the Frank and Helen Traylor's family, raised in Mt. Arlington, and married Wallace Sutton of the Hopatcong Suttons. She lived in Sperry Springs, across the street from Lake Hopatcong, for 71 years. Their life together started in a bungalow needing to get water from a nearby spring. In 1963 she built a modern house in front of the bungalow. She is survived by 3 children; Wallace 72 (Fort Worth, TX), Debbie 70 (Phoenix, AZ), and Mark 64 (Hopatcong, NJ). After raising her children, she ran the commissary at Picatinny Arsenal, making many trips to Dover Delaware. She retired in 1-1-1996 and loved old movies and crossword puzzles. She will truly be missed.
