How you can help
My wife’s sister, Ethel Diane Nash passed away this morning 14 December 2023, at approx. 6:00am in Mount Olive, NC. She fought many battles for a long time. She had a strong will to live, but the sickness just kept getting worse and worse as she suffered from Lewy Body Dementia and Brain Poisoning. Today that battle ended. My wife and I miss her and wish we had been able to see her 1 more time to tell her that we love her, but we are glad that she is not suffering anymore.
To say that we are shocked is an understatement, unfortunately, we are not prepared to pay for the funeral services or a burial plot at this unexpected time. I am a United States Air Force disabled military veteran and my wife is disabled as well. Our disability incomes are not enough to pay for this unexpected expense. I am trying to raise money to cover the cost of her funeral service, the burial plot and other costs that the funeral home has. The estimated cost that we have been told is: $3,700.00. I am not sure if there are other charges that may come up at a later time. We would like to thank everyone for everything that you are so gracious enough to give to help pay for her to have a proper funeral.
