Ethel was kind, caring, and loving person. As a child, I remember her running the SBTP tennis tournaments. She always made me feel welcomed as a youth. When I got older I got to know Ethel as a friend. Her grandkids were similar ages to my kids. We shared many stories together. When I worked at SBTC, I’d see Ethel daily playing tennis, swimming, or helping out with tournaments. Ethel was always easy to talk to. As I got to know Ethel more I realized how big of an impact she had in the community. I only knew of the great things she did for tennis in Santa Barbara and California. I cannot comprehend on how many lives Ethel has touched. She will be greatly missed. I want to send my love and prayers to her family and let them know how meaningful she was to me.

Good conversations with her at the pool or when she worked an event…she loved that role with Larry
