Esther Walker, 97, passed away at her residence in Albany on January 22, 2026. She was the daughter of Jesse and Mary (Landes) Freeman, in Lacona, Iowa. She married Charles Robert Walker Sr. on August 31st, 1951 in Lebanon, Oregon.
In 1958, Charles and Esther bought a home on 29th Avenue in Albany and raised their family there. Esther worked for many years at Smoke Craft in Albany. Esther's greatest happiness came from spending time …
