On Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2023, Ernest “Ernie” Tonhauser, loving husband and father, passed away at age 79.

He was born January 20, 1944, in Glaserhau, Czechoslovakia and immigrated with his family to the U.S. in 1952. He entered the third grade at St. Bernard’s Catholic School in Akron, Ohio. He is a 1962 alumnus of Hoban Catholic High School and obtained his Certificate of Naturalization the same year. He attended Kent State University and …
