Ernest's obituary

Ernest Lee Phillips, III, 51, husband of Kathy Bailey Phillips, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on January 29, 1969, to Ernest Lee Phillips, Jr. and the late Linda Harp Crowe. He was a brand and website designer for Mediocre Creative Advertising Agency.

In addition to his father and wife, he is survived by his daughter, Taylor Phillips; sons, Zachary, Max, and Alex Phillips; brothers, Tommy and Virgil (Rachelle) Gill; sisters, Linda Hall and Haley (Jess Ann) Phillips; stepmother, Donna Phillips; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, John Phillips.

Services will be at 2:00PM, Thursday, January 7, 2021 by Dr. Ed Mesta at Scobee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Boonesboro Cemetery. These services are open, please consider social distancing.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until time of service.
