My condolences to Ernie's family. I first met Ernie at Huntington Park High school where we ran track and cross country together( he was a much better runner than I was). Found out that we lived about 2 blocks from each other in East LA. A few years later we both married our current wives and have many fond memories of camping at Yosemite and New Years eve parties together. Ernie was a great friend and had an infectious laugh. God be with you Lupe and family as you mourn Ernies loss.
