Ernest's obituary
Ernest Luke Goerg (Ernie) age 60, born May 15th 1960 in Pittsburgh, PA passed away on November 18th 2020 at his residence in Connecticut.
He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Camilla Goerg, Sister Donna Goerg and Brothers William and Thomas Goerg.
He is survived by his siblings Mark Goerg (Lana) of CO, Michael Goerg (Glenn) of KY, Theresa Goerg of CA, and Mary Miller of AZ. As well as nephews Brian Goerg, and Vince Albrecht; Nieces Aimee Goerg-Smith, Allie Goerg, Elizabeth Goerg, Lillian Goerg, Lindsey Reyes, Sarah Robertson, and several great nieces and nephews.
Ernie had a passion for music and enjoyed playing his guitars. He always had a song to share and enjoyed passing this love of music down to younger generations of the family.
Ernie was a great cook and could whip up wonderful meals with a southwestern flare he learned during his time out west. He enjoyed coin collecting, football, baseball and was a traveler at heart. He lived all over the country including CO, WY, NM, CT, PA, IL, CA, NY & MD. Most recently enjoying a trip to Alaska this past year to visit his nephew. He had plans to move to New Mexico in the Spring.
Ernie did things on his own terms and loved testing limits but he was generous, smart, kind and will be missed dearly.
No memorial will be planned at this time. In lieu of flowers please share music that speaks to your heart with family and friends.
