Ernest Nicholas Cioffi, 76, died Monday, November 18, 2019, at the Bedford VA Medical Center, in Bedford, MA. He was born in Boston, on December 6, 1942, to Esther (Zuccaro) Cioffi and John Cioffi. He was raised in East Boston. Ernest was noted to be a talented artist. Ernest later joined the military, and served in the Vietnam War. Ernest went on to be employed at the VA Medical Center in Jamaica Plain, MA, for over twenty years.
Ernest leaves behind his beloved wife of thirty three years, Camille, sisters Roseann (Cioffi) DiNuccio, Marie (Cioffi) Malerba, Esther (Cioffi) Reid, brothers Anthony Cioffi, and Gerard Cioffi, and many nieces and nephews. Ernest was predeceased by his brothers Michael Cioffi, Joseph Cioffi, and John Cioffi, as well as his parents Esther and John Cioffi.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael’s Church in Medford, MA, on December 6, 2019, at 11 AM.
