Ernest F. Bates Jr. (69) passed peacefully in his sleep Wednesday evening May 21st 2025 in Gilbert Arizona. He was born August 23rd 1955 to his father Ernest Bates Sr. and mother Dawn M. Bates. He is survived by his son Ryan , grandson Connor and sister Julie. He was known to his loved ones and friends by Ernie. He enjoyed the outdoors, and was a native to Arizona. Ernie was a kind and loving man, who always made people smile and feel appreciated. He was quick with a joke, and Ernie touched the lives of those who knew him and will be remembered in our hearts always. There will be a private family service following the cremation.
