Erin Elizabeth Edwards passed away on November 12 at 5:06pm. She was a wonderfully giving person. If you knew her she had helped you one way or another because her heart was so big. From the moment she met you she would take you under her wing if you needed it. 

She cared for animals, everything from dying elderly feral cats she fed outside, to the hundreds of birds she would feed in her side yard at her house. She was always feeding people, and animals. All living creatures were important to her, and so deeply loved by her.

The world has lost an incredibly genuine soul and everyone who knew her will feel the loss. Her help while I have been so sick during this pregnancy has been invaluable. I literally could not do it without her and now I have to.... I have to say goodbye to my mother and hello to a new baby in a few weeks. 

She lived for her grandson Lewyn. Her relationship with him was so very special, something I will miss witnessing so very much. She moved mountains for that kid and gave him such a wonderful life. The thought of her not being able to meet the new baby is truly just soul crushing, because she loved the new baby so much already and was so excited to meet him. 

She always thought of others. Always. The world is really going to feel her absence.
