Personal note from Kristen Slater, Erin's sister

Thank you for being here, it means you mattered to our beloved Erin and were an important contributor to her experience of joy. She loved nothing more than connecting with YOU, those she loved. As you all know, Erin had a remarkable gift for creating meaningful moments that will forever resonate in our hearts. As we celebrate her big, beautiful, bright life, we wish to preserve these treasured memories for her beloved children—Ady, Ami, and Brooks—so they may always carry a piece of their extraordinary mother with them and continue to learn about her kind, generous, thoughtful soul, through you.

If you would like to honor our sweet Erin by sharing a memory, quality of hers that touched your heart, or any special insight you believe her children should know, we invite you to write a "Dear Adelyn, Amelie and Brooks" letter. Your reflections will become a treasured collection, a legacy of love they can reflect on as they continue their journey through life. While our hearts ache for their loss and we know they will miss their mother dearly, we are eager to witness how Erin’s unique spirit will continue to shine through them as they grow. There will be a letter collection box at her service, letters can be posted on this site, emailed to me (kristenmallory22@gmail.com) or sent snail mail to: PO Box 370420, Montara, CA 94037.

To all who are here, feeling the weight of this profound loss, please know that your grief is acknowledged and understood. We stand together in this sorrow, and we are deeply grateful for the love you shared with Erin. While the pain of her absence is immense, it serves as a reminder of the great love that existed between you. In this difficult time, we can take comfort in knowing that each of you has been forever touched and transformed by Erin’s presence in your life.
