Eriksen's obituary
Eriksen Michael Capistrano passed away peacefully on January 30th, 2023 at the age of 13 months and 10 days.
Born to Christian & Shelby Capistrano on December 20th, 2021, Erik was a strong and hyper-aware baby. He crushed milestone after milestone quickly, from almost being born in the car on the way to the hospital at midnight, to be able to hold his head up at two days old, rolling over at two months, crawling at four, learning to walk and babbling away at ten, riding/pushing his little bicycle at 1 year, calling for "Mama" and "Dadda" when he needed something, and lastly, learning to give tender kisses during his final days.
He loved his two older brothers and enjoyed following and mimicking whatever they were doing. Some of Erik's favorite activities were playing quietly with his favorite toys, watching sing-a-longs with his bros on tv, giving hugs, making you laugh, and lighting up the room by smiling and giggling with his big adorable smile. He was a happy-go-lucky little guy, very aware of his surroundings, great travel buddy, and full of love.
Our family was not expecting the loss of Erik, or for God to welcome him back in his arms so soon up in Heaven. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Erik for a very long time until we meet again someday. He was the sweetest, kindest, most loving soul, and such a joy to be around. He will be forever missed.
Eriksen will always be remembered by his father, Christian, mother, Shelby, and his two older brothers, Emersen & Andersen, along with his grandparents, Scott & Suzy Rush, Edgar & Nelia Capistrano, Matthew & Sarah Schmoll, great-grandparent, Eileen Santos-Rush, and by his many extended family and friends all around the world.
