Birthday's aren't always a celebration, for those grieving it can be a very difficult day. We miss one of the kindest young ladies I have known.
I somehow just found out. I'm beyond devastated.  Erika was a beautiful person,  through and through.  She was popular,  smart and sweet to everyone.  She never looked down on anyone,  and was someone that although I wasn't extremely close to,  had a special place in my heart. Anyone who knew her couldn't help but love her,  and I will always carry her with me.

🎼I had so many plans for you, I had so many Dreams…🎼…🕊🙌🏼

♥️We get by with hope, we can say goodbye with Hope…because we know this one is not the end…🎼♥️SCC🎼🕊

Erika was our niece. Every moment spent with her was precious and fun! ❤️

GRIEF NEVER ENDS, BUT IT CHANGES.

IT IS A PASSAGE, NOT A PLACE TO STAY.

GRIEF IS NOT A SIGN OF WEAKNESS,

NOR A LACK OF FAITH.

IT IS THE PRICE OF LOVE.

❤️

We miss you Erika

She just had a sweet kindness…

She just had a sweet kindness about her, you could even hear it in her voice, almost a calming effect . Her smile was so beautiful as she was beautiful. She will be so missed, I feel especially sad for my grandchildren Tatem and Asher who loved spending time with her, she always made them feel so special.

Erika is the only person who …
2003, Roadtrip across Washington to Victoria, B.C.
Erika is the only person who could convince me that taking a Greyhound bus across Washington state would be fun. (With her, it was a blast!) Even when a car accident and subsequent trip to the E.R. derailed our plans to bungee jump in Victoria, B.C., she made the best of it and had me laughing so hard that weekend, I busted open a few of the stitches on my face. She loved having a good time and could find any situation hilariously amusing.
In the relatively short time I knew Erika she brought tremendous joy to my life. I remember our first conversations and the dates we went on. Whether it was a walk, going to a restaurant, the driving range or Mariners game we had an incredible time. I drove back and forth from Bellingham to Oak Harbor to spend several days with her. She loved to laugh and we would watch comedy together. I took her to the lake to kayak and we always looked forward to our next adventure. When not together we would text everyday. She was always thinking of others and how she could help people. I'll always miss her and cherish the time we had. Words can't describe the effect she had on me. She'll forever be in my heart. My sincerest condolences and sympathy go out to her family and friends. Be kind and gentle to one another in her memory.
