My thoughts and prayers are with the Till family and everyone who has been affected by this loss. There are truly no words to describe how deeply devastating this is. Erik was not only my brothers roommate, he was a second brother to me. Erik was servant hearted. There were so many times that Erik dropped what he was doing to come help me with something. Whether it was helping me move into my freshman year dorm, move into my room at theta, or coming to kill wasps for me in my new house because I was too scared, Erik was more than willing to come help me anytime I needed it. I’ll miss his goofy self forever. Erik, you’re number 1 in the roommate rankings forever.
Our hearts ache for the Till …

Our hearts ache for the Till family. Erik was an amazing young man. This photo shows Erik with the most delightful smile one can imagine, in Destin FL in 2005 with his sisters and his Allen cousins.
I feel your loss in my heart. My prayers are with your family during this time.

Erik through his life of loving  & giving, kind nature, has set an example for us all. His smile & love will live on with us.

My heart hurts for your unimaginable loss! I didn’t know Erik myself but my son, Luke, was a good friend of his at OU. He shares with me many fond memories of Erik! I am praying that The Lord draws you near to Him and brings you peace and comfort.

Ryan and I are So sorry to hear about your loss.

We’re sure he’s soaring now.

I did not have the opportunity to know Erik as a young man, but from reading all the amazing tributes written about him, it is clear that he was an extraordinary individual—truly one of a kind. The stories of his deep care and kindness for others, the profound impact he had on those around him, his exceptional talent and excellence in everything he pursued, his goofy sense of humor, and a smile that could light up any room all paint a picture of someone truly special. In his 22 years, Erik accomplished so much, and there is no doubt he would have achieved many more remarkable things. Erik’s legacy will continue to inspire others, and the memories he leaves behind will continue to touch the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Joanie, Bruce, Abby, and Alissa, we send love and heartfelt condolences as you grieve this unimaginable loss.
