From his passions as a devoted fan, to the many trips he took to visit his alma mater in Athens, Ohio, to his relationship with his fiancé Paola and their dog Nico. He was a devoted loyal friend and person that you could count on to always be there to lift you up and keep the energy going. Eric and I only worked together for a short while, but we always seemed to get along. Eric and Paola got engaged shortly before my fiancée and I did. We would message each other and laugh about the outrageous costs of planning a wedding. We were looking at the same style of wedding venues and even bought very similar engagement rings. It was nice to have someone else going through that same experience and my heart goes out to Paola and Eric's family.
