Eric's obituary
Eric Paul Sagucio was born on November 20, 1983, in Dover, Delaware, and passed away on December 26, 2025.
Eric was a devoted and loving father to his four children, Aubrey, Bennett, Charlee, and Keane, who were the true center of his life. He is also survived by his siblings, Ariel, Alexis, Benjamin, and Neil, who loved him deeply.
Eric proudly served for over 14 years with the United States Border Patrol, dedicating his career to public service and the protection of others. Prior to his federal service, Eric spent more than 10 years as a sous chef, a role he took great pride in. His culinary career included the honor of traveling internationally to Dubai and Germany to assist with new store openings—experiences that reflected both his talent and work ethic.
Outside of work, Eric found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved bowling, playing pool, and spending time on the water, where he enjoyed body surfing, boogie boarding, catching lobsters, and spear-fishing for grouper in Key West and Hawaii. Above all, Eric cherished time spent with the people he truly cared about.
He will be remembered for his dedication, his love for his family, and the many moments of laughter and joy he shared with friends and loved ones. Eric’s legacy lives on through his children, his family, and all those whose lives he touched.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and support shown to Eric and our family during this difficult time.
