On behalf of his loving children, Eric Raymond Pettit, Jr. & Britney Helen Pettit, as well as the mother of his children & always friend, Kimberly Ann Pettit, it is with extreme sadness to announce the passing of their beloved father and friend, Eric Raymond Pettit, Sr. this past Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the young age of just 56 years old, having just celebrated his birthday on February 4th a week prior to his passing.

Eric's untimely death was very tragic & unexpected and happened at home with both of his children present. Unfortunately, Eric was unable to obtain life insurance for any final expenses, which has left his children struggling to pull the necessary funds together for a proper farewell and burial for their father. And although they are already in the process of making the final arrangements for Eric's memorial service, they've had to borrow money to secure the services to have his life celebrated in a timely manner, and all of this while trying to process the events that took place surrounding their heartbreaking loss and trying to grieve the loss of their dear father.

If you are able and find it in your heart to do so, please consider making a donation in lieu of flowers to help ease the financial burden Eric's children are now facing. All donations will be directly sent to Eric's children and used to offset funeral costs and any donations beyond the set goal will be used to help with any other costs his children were not expecting to so suddenly incur, such as unpaid medical expenses and household bills.
