Guy had a great voice. Perfect for a radio host or commentator. Loved his streams. They always felt a bit like relaxing in traffic listening to your favorite disc jockey. He was hilarious and the great equalizer of the SoulCalibur VI community. Tournament champions and scrubs alike were welcome in his streams and lobbies and everyone got along. RIP Taki picker. Hard to believe we're coming up on 5 years without you. You've missed Elden Ring, RE9, the FF7 Remake continuation, and we're still missing you. Rest easy.
Rest easy my boy. Hope you’re at peace now

Rest in peace Eric. I relish all the memories I have of you and love you for everything you have done for the community. You helped me thru a lot of stuff, with your positive way of looking at things and all of your great stories. If i'm ever in the US I promise to come visit you.Love you, buddy. /Fabian.
Rest in peace, buddy. I know it's been a while and I'm sorry that I wasn't around. You can finally rest well. You'll be missed greatly by all. I'll always remember your kind approach to anyone that you'd ever meet. You were always insanely welcoming and it was heartwarming to see how many people practically fell in love with the community that you'd built. I'll always thank you for everything you did for me. Rest easy, my friend.

I'm still in shock,Eric was so full of life, always had a joke or was always giving everybody even complete strangers and sine how that name would match the person. I'm thankful Angela & Eric were best friends. I'm going to miss his laughs stories, and Eric. You will be forever loved and missed. R.I.P.
I will never forget you Eric. From Day of Defeat source to Warcraft to Tarkov we spent 15 years together. We bonded like brothers. We shared intimate details, I cared about you and have no doubts you cared about me. I would have done anything for you brother. I’m sorry I failed tou. I love you gilg……

Gilg/Eric...
I knew you for 10 years, you lived on the east coast and I lived on the west coast. I met you when I was about 20, online from your friend Smokey. You didn't like playing L4D, so you decided to introduce me to League of Legends. That's where you introduced me to your other friends Matt, and Pat. You were a great Jungler who loved playing Volibear. I remember you would always stand up for me if anyone, including your friends ever gave me shit. For years we would game and talk in vent/ discord all the way until one of us was tired and repeated it the next day. In a way it felt like it was helping you stay away from the bad stuff. Always, telling us your hilarious crazy stories made my day. I remember every Saturday you wouldn't game to watch UFC. Then you introduced me to WOW, and we played that for a while but League was always our go to. I also met my boyfriend that played League and we all played together. Eventually we both ended up going our separate ways... quietly...
I still would talk to him time to time on discord just to catch up. I remember when he started the Twitch stream and I was on his stream for a few hours getting Gilg to say some old hilarious stories. I was like this is great for him, he loves gaming, talking and getting paid. I always checked up on him from time to time. Would always wish him a happy birthday and would talk to him for awhile to see how he's been. When I learned what happened, I was hurt. I miss you already.
You became a close friend and you really meant something to me, I am thinking of you now and always.
If anyone has any information where his ashes were buried please let me know. I would actually like to fly out and say one last good bye.
- Sincerely,
Veronica

We didn't know each other well, but I'd always look forward to hanging out with Eric on his twitch streams. He had the best stories and most infectious positivity. I'm gonna miss you man.
He really just put it all out there for us. I met him playing soul calibur and we played a lot and played street fighter too. He was such a funny guy. I am so heartbroken. Gonna miss your stories bro. To this day I have not laughed harder than hearing your dumb stories. Every time i hopped in that stream i was smiling like an idiot within minutes. The community he created did so much for so many people. Miss you dude. Rest well buddy.
Eric,
You shared a lot of your life with us online friends, we loved your honesty and heart. I told you that you were better than you claimed to be, I hope in your last moments you came to realize that. I pray God is comforting you.

Eric and I were high school friends. I moved out the state and we didn't keep in touch. I'm sorry to hear he passed. He was a really good dude. I always felt like Eric looked out for me and made sure I wasn't taken advantage of by some of the sketchier folks in our crowd. And he asked nothing in return. I will remember him for his sense of humor. And how he always whooped my ass in Soulcalibur II.
I wish I reached out more over the years man. You were a big part of my childhood. Video games, sparring, drawing, music. You helped me come out of my shell, gain confidence, and stop giving a shit what anyone else thought back when I was just a little wimpy shy kid and I will always be grateful. I'll never forget our bus stop endeavors, our constant sparring and wrestling matches, or the funny way you would always ask for a cigarette "lemme get a boggeeeeyy". Rest in peace my dude, I'll see ya on the other side.
Going to miss you big guy. Forever grateful we were able to hangout and play video games these past few months after not seeing each other for years. See you on the other side for some sparring matches brother. RIP Eric.
GILG, you were my favorite streamer, and was my entry into the FGC and enjoying Twitch again after many years. I don't think I would have met others and enjoyed Twitch as much as I do now had it not been for your really entertaining streams.
I hope you can rest well.
I will miss you.
Gilgie, you were always so kind to everyone you met. You never had nothing bad to say about anyone, except the Natsu fans. Your presence and laugh were so infectious, and it made me feel at ease knowing someone as kind and passionate as you existed on Twitch. I sometimes catch myself saying chocobo the way you did and I reflect on how much you’ve affected me on a personal level... I just wish I could’ve said it earlier. I’m not a fan of beer as you know, but I sure as hell will drink one in your name. I’ll miss you Eric, GILG, my friend.
I have known Eric for a few years now. Me and him played a lot of games together with lots of joking back and forth. Me and him shared a love for a lot of the same kind of music. Some of my favorite memories were telling stories back and forth about all the crazy stuff we had done in our younger years up to current. Me and Eric had a lot of differing views and would love to argue and debate about just about anything. He loved UFC, Classic rock music and video games. I always had an admiration of Eric because of all the stuff he had been through in his life but his unbreakable spirit and positive attitude. He was a good man taken too soon. Rest in peace buddy!
Rest in peace, Sewer-man. You're defenestrating demons in hell now.
