Dear Mulligan Family

I met Eric in 3rd grade, where we both had a crush on our teacher Miss Hatch.  He lived 2 blocks away and we would ride our bikes everywhere.  Later we joined scouts and went on many camping trips and adventures.  I have such fond memories of Galveston trips with Eric and his family.  In high school there were so many amazing times with our pack of friends at football games and parties.  We learned to drive together, went water skiing, and climbed Mt. Baldy.  In 1984 we graduated and both went to UT in Austin for our freshman year.  Eric was such a kind and loyal friend and such a big part of my life.....everyones life.  I know there is a spot that will forever be missing in your heart. My prayers for comfort and strength for your family.

When I was going thorough a rough time with my health in Tampa Florida Eric left his family in Orlando who if I recall where in Disney world for a vacation to visit me —upon learning that after my last surgery I could not drive or ride in a car for the 1300 mile trip back to Midland, Texas Eric insisted and in fact did drive my car (alone) all the way back to Midland—Thus cutting short his family vacation to help me—That gift of love ❤️ I will never forget. May  Eric be in peace with our Lord
Kirsten, I am heartbroken over the loss of Eric . You, Brian, and Lauren are in my prayers. I pray that God will comfort you as only He can. Love, Susan C.

Eric san - I will always remember how you will go to my ticket table to show me your family ‘s pass during basketball games, even though I knew you were Kiki’ s hubby. You were always courteous and friendly. You are now our angel and especially for your lovely and loving wife:Kiki san , Lauren and Brian .You will be missed by everyone.🥰
I was so sorry to hear about Eric's passing. He was such a genuine nice man and a very warm person.  We had so much fun going out on the boat with him, Kirsten and friends!  The world has lost a very special person.  We will miss him dearly!  Our hearts go out to his family!
All my love and support during this time. From Julie Schell at UT Austin's College of Fine Arts.

Dear Mulligans:

My heart breaks for you!  Eric was special and will always be present in your life whether he walks beside you physically or not!  Peace be with you!

love - Matt, Maria and Abbey Garrett

I had so much fun playing poker with Eric, and his friends. Everyone was so tolerant and fun. Eric and I would usually ride to the games together and continue to laugh and visit. I look back and realize that was such a fun time. I'm so glad he was such a good father and so fortunate to have created a beautiful family with such a great wife, he was GIFTED ❤🥂
