Eric "Rhino" & "El Jefe" Mueller, 74, of Laguna Beach, California, passed away on February 14, 2023, after a long battle with various health problems at his home in Laguna Beach surrounded by loved ones.

Eric was born on May 11th, 1948, in Los Angeles, California at Good Samaritan Hospital. After graduating from La Serna High School, he went on to study business at the University of Boulder. Eric started working at the Socal Safe Company sweeping the floors and worked his way to the top. His drive and determination helped the business thrive. He purchased his house in Laguna Beach, California in 1974. In 1973 he met Jacqueline and her daughter Tiffany, and they wed in 1975, going on to have two children, Jason and Haley. Eric was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of Tiffany, Jason, Haley and Brandon, and always tried his best to support them. Eric was also a passionate hunter and could often be found on his boat or the golf course when he wasn’t at home. Eric is survived by his sisters Nancy and Ann. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to 399 Pearl St, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. There will be a celebration of life on May 7th, 2023, from 11 - 3 at The Ranch in Laguna Beach.
