While there were many Ms. Cho would've liked to contact and invite to the funeral service which took place on February 25, 2021, she mentioned that it was nearly impossible to reach anyone due to Eric's phone being locked and she therefore had no way of contacting any of the people he knew. In addition to COVID-19 regulations that were imposed on the mortuary, the family was limited on the number of guests that were able to attend. In light of this and in consideration of how the status update announcing his passing may have been missed by those who knew Eric, this online memorial was created to help commemorate his life and the memories we all may have shared with him. It was meant to offer those who were not able to attend his funeral or did not know he has passed so that they may send their condolences and so that he may continue to live on, forever in our hearts.
While some may wonder how he passed and may hope to find the answer to that question here, please be aware that out of respect and consideration for the family, I have refrained from including the cause of his death and kindly ask that you will do the same. It is a difficult time for many of us, some more than others, and whatever the cause may be, we wish only that Eric may rest in peace. Thank you for understanding.
Eric was cremated and his ashes will be or has been disbursed.
