Eric Brown passed away unexpectedly during the week ending on February 23, 2025 at the age of 34.

Eric was born to Becky and Gregory Brown on December 3rd, 1990. As a kid Eric was passionate about football, orchestra, and riding motorcycles with his father. From a young age, Eric was captivated by all things mechanical and automotive, so much so that his parents trusted him more than his older brother with the keys to the Power Wheel. Eric was an outstanding student and received his degree from Texas A&M in 2013.

Eric went on to have a career in software training and technical support with Expedia, but eventually left that career to follow his dreams of becoming a pilot. Eric spent the last three years of his life training to become a commercial pilot. Along the way he became a flight instructor at ATP flight school. As an instructor Eric helped many others to get off the ground with their own flight journeys. At the time of his passing, Eric was just weeks away from completing his hours to move onto becoming a commercial pilot. Our family and his loved ones are incredibly proud of him for making his dreams a reality.

Our family was not expecting the loss of Eric, or for his life to be cut short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Eric forever. Aptly, Eric's childhood family nickname was "Air Bear." He is remembered as having a huge heart for others, and was a joy to be around. He is described fittingly by his friends as "one of my favorite human beings on this planet" and "the kind of guy that was an immediate friend." He will be forever missed. Eric was preceded in death by his Mother Becky Brown, Grandparents Warren and Laura Brown as well as Charles and Marie Wood, and Aunt Karen Wood. He is survived by his Father Gregory Brown and Gregory's wife Nancy Brown; his Brother Brian Brown, Sister-in-law Katie Lang Brown, and their child, Nephew Vincent Lang Brown; his Aunts Marie Hayes, Ann Brown, Barbara Wood; his Uncles Mike Wood, Ken Wood, Scott Hayes, and his Cousins Chris Wood, Katie Wood, Laura Wanamaker, Andrew Wood, Kylie Hayes, and Emery Hayes.
