Eric was a man of many passions, earning his greatest joy from his beloved family. He is survived by his children, Benjamin Nelson and Ashley Nelson and his grandchildren, Travis Nelson, Dakota Nelson, Blane Nelson, and Benjamin Nelson Jr. In them, Eric's memory, strength, and love will continue to shine brightly.
A man of strong taste and distinct preferences, Eric dearly loved the music of Eddie Money, Bryan Adams, Fleetwood Mac, Jackson Browne, and Roy Orbison. Their tunes often filled his house and heart, echoing his robust and joyous spirit. A familiar sight in his home was the Fox News channel, which he appreciated for its news coverage and commentary.
Among Eric's greatest trademarks were his love for outdoor recreational activities. Fishing, camping, and dirt bike riding were his outlets for adventure and serenity. He was known for his collection of red vehicles, which were as strong and vibrant as his personality.
