Eric's obituary
November 9, 1973 – March 12, 2021
Eric Thomas DeBlase, 47 of Stevensville, MD, walked into the arms of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior to be with our heavenly father for eternity.
Eric, beloved son of Thomas and Shirley DeBlase was born on November 9th 1973 in Baltimore, MD. He graduated from Glenelg High School in 1991 with vocational training as an electrician. He progressed from that to owning his own business and then to senior engineer and division manager at ConCore Networks, Inc. He was well liked and respected by his peers at his job where he mentored and helped elevate his coworkers with his in-depth knowledge and experience.
He was a loving father who raised two children, Willi and Alli DeBlase, now adults. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, the beach and cooking. He really loved hanging out with his cousin Larry Meekins who was more like a brother and his wife Shannon and their children and other loving family and friends. He was an avid Ravens football fan. Children gravitated to him and he was adored by his nieces and nephews and friends’ children.
In addition to his parents and two children, Eric was survived by his sisters Michelle Gray (David), Jami Deblase (Brian Wofford), his grandmother Norma Meekins, his niece Jessi and nephew Jake, three great-nephews (Sylas, Soren and Sebastian), his girlfriend Mary Snyder and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who loved him dearly.
Forever in our hearts, we love you, Eric.
