Eric Mitchel Atkins Sr, resident of Cartersville, GA, went to his heavenly home on April 21, 2022 at the age of 65.

Eric was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy and father, John. He is survived by his son, Eric and daughter, Ila; his grandchildren, Asher, Avery, Alex and Collin Calloway; as well as his beloved mother, Eva; and sister, Tamila Grogan (John).

Eric was born in Macon, GA and graduated from North Georgia Technical College with a degree in Horticulture, he enjoyed working as a landscaper for many years. He was a faithful man who loved the Lord, music, nature and helping others. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

All are welcome to join in remembrance of him at the graveside memorial service scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on May 7 at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins, GA. His family requests donations to be made to www.onetreeplanted.org in lieu of flowers.
