I played basketball with Eric in Highschool and knew his family the way you do in small communities of an international school. More recently we got connected on FB and I was amazed at seeing his interactions with his daughters. I would look forward to his posts and seeing the love he showed for his friends and family. He was a good soul and he will be missed. My love and prayers will be with his family.

This photo reminds me of the decade or so that Eric and I shared a bedroom. He was a great little brother, would always bring me hot Milo during the winter when it was cold, especially if we were watching soccer together. I miss him dearly.

My Dearest Eric. 

I can only hope you truly felt how much your friendship and words of encouragement always meant to me. You are and always will be the proof, that love and friendship are a daily work of art my friend. Your smile, your big heart and your out of this world personality are things I will always carry with me. 

I'm still in denial writting this message, but I sure hope you are in a much better place enjoying your new journey,  planning the big future and paving it  for your daughthers!

You are greatly missed !

When I was about 6 or 7 years old our mom would pay Eric a small stipend for making breakfast for our whole family on schooldays. He routinely woke up very early to do this. Two days a week he made cream of wheat… and he wasn’t very good at it, so the cream of wheat was lumpy. The lumps made me gag but we weren’t allowed to eat anything else! This is the only food I won’t eat to this day. Whenever I see cream of wheat in a grocery aisle, I think of Eric. 😂😂
