Erhard Mueller was born in Kisil Bessarabia, Romania on June 21, 1929. He immigrated to Canada in 1950 and settled in Winnipeg and was married in 1958. They purchased a farm in Marquette, MB and farmed for 20 years and raised a family. His immediate family lived nearby and they enjoyed many visits on the farm with all the brothers, wives and children. In 1981 he sold the farm and moved to Kelowna, purchased a sign company before retiring in 1985. He then travelled to Mexico every winter, learned Spanish, took up skiing and jogging and enjoyed vegetable gardening and keeping an immaculate lawn where no weeds were allowed to grow.
He loved to tell stories of his past which kept people entertained and in awe of his life and survival in Europe during war times. He retained any history he read and was a wealth of information .
He was resourceful, determined, a story teller and had a sense of humor.
