Emmett Hilt Underwood, Jr 51, of Farmington, MO, passed away peacefully September 26, 2019 from complications following cardiac arrest.
He was born to Emmett H. Underwood, Sr. and Wanda H. Underwood, on December 8, 1967 in Newport News, VA.
Emmett graduated from Warwick High School and went on to become an over-the-road truck driver, traveling and experiencing our great country in ways many of us never will. He did exactly what his passions directed him to do – drive trucks. He also was somewhat of a collector of firearms, loved plinking cans in his Dad's cow-fields in Missouri, and knew the ins and outs of his collection. His face lit up when explaining the nuances of each item in his collection. Many will also forever remember his great sense of humor and infectious laugh. He loved a good joke and could make anyone laugh at just about anything!
Emmett is survived by his parents, Emmett Hilt Underwood, Sr. and Wanda H. Underwood, his son Brandon James Underwood, and his sister Martha Ann (Underwood) Wallace.
Those who knew Emmett know that he would not want to be fussed over in the traditional ways.
The family asks that any who wish to memorialize him make a donation to a favorite charity or may we suggest a donation to Mid-America Transplant in celebration of his life.
