Emmanuel Opeoluwa was born and raised in Nigeria, completing his post-secondary Education in Electrical Engineering at Yaba Technical Institute (Yaba College), Lagos in 1962. As a brilliant student, he obtained a Federal Government Scholarship and moved to England with his wife, to study and qualify as an Electrical Engineer from the Faraday House Electrical Engineering College, Southampton Row, London. He then obtained a post-graduate training with the British Electricity Generation and Transmission Board in NewCastle, England as well as the Electricity Distribution Board, London.

He subsequently returned to Nigeria with his wife where he began his career in Electrical Engineering with the former Electricity Corporation of Nigeria (ECN). He served his entire career with ECN in various capacities across several States in Nigeria until retirement in 1991 when he was Director of Distribution for (NEPA) National Electric Power Authority (previously ECN).

After his retirement, Engr. Opeoluwa Odesanya worked as a Consulting Engineer on World Bank Projects across the Northern States of Nigeria (Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara) from January 1993 to July 2000.

Engr. Opeoluwa attended the Restoration Bible School, Kaduna from 1993 - 1994 to study Theology. He pursued his qualification further at Remo College of Theology, Ikenne-Remo from 2001 - 2002 under the tutorship of Late Dr. Venerable Ademuyiwa and Late Professor Venerable S. Shofowora. Upon graduation, he pioneered the All-Saints Church, Ikenne as the Vicar/Senior Pastor until his final retirement in 2011 at age 75.

He then relocated to England in 2013 to join his wife, Mabel Omowunmi Odesanya where they lived until his peaceful passing on to Glory!🙏

Rev. (Engr.) Opeoluwa Odesanya was a loving, caring, compassionate, sensitive, and very generous man who loved God and did all in his heart to follow and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. He loved engineering, played table tennis for recreation, committed to his social circle of friends, and would do anything within his capability to support his immediate family, extended family and numerous friends.

We are grateful to God for his fulfilled life and comforted in the knowledge that he committed his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and he is finally resting in peace with Almighty God. To God be the Glory!🙌🙌

We would all miss him dearly!💙
