Emily Palmer Peake, Age 31, of Canton, NC, passed away on June 11th, 2025.

Emily was a precious mother, a devoted sister, and a deeply loved friend. She brought warmth, laughter, and light to everyone around her. Her spirit was gentle, her love was fierce, and her presence was a gift to all who knew her.

Her kindness and generosity touched many lives, and her strength and joy will be remembered always by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

More than anything in this world, Emily loved being a mom. Her son was her whole heart. She loved him endlessly, talked about him with pride, and lit up every time he was near. Every choice she made, every dream she had, was centered around giving him love, safety, and joy. Being his mother was the greatest honor of her life.

Emily’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her most.

She is in the air we breathe, soft and steady.

She’s the warmth of the sun on our skin,

the whisper of wind through the trees,

and the beauty blooming in every flower.

Though we cannot see her, she is everywhere —

a quiet, loving presence in all things bright and kind.

A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, June 30th, at 1:00 PM at the Asheville Botanical Gardens, in the gazebo area. The celebration is open to close family and friends who wish to honor her memory.
