In Loving Memory of Emily Marie Michael
August 27, 2003 – February 12, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emily Michael, who left this world on February 12th , 2025, at the age of 21. Born in Anderson, Indiana, Emily was a lifelong resident of Elwood, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness, creativity, and love for family and friends.
A student at Elwood High School, Emily had a passion for the arts and found joy in painting and drawing. She cherished time spent with loved ones and brought warmth and laughter to all who knew her.
Emily is preceded in death by her father, Jason Michael, beloved Papaw, Tommy Thomas, Uncle Samuel Sexton, and Aunt Joy Sexton. She is survived by their loving mother, Deanna Michael; sisters Brittani (Justin) Donaldson, Sarah (Taylor) Michael, and Hannah (Darren) Michael; nephew James and niece Maddie; Aunt Dawn Thomas; and several cousins who will forever cherish their memory.
A celebration of Emily’s life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Ford Street Church in Lapel, Indiana. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor a life that brought so much love to those around them.
Emily will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her love and spirit will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew her.
