It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Emily Harris on November 3, 2023. Born on September 26, 1953, Emily lived a fulfilling and vibrant life surrounded by her loved ones.
Emily will be lovingly remembered by her devoted daughters, Willa Pyles and husband Cory, her cherished grandchildren, Tiffany & Brandon Worthington and Natasha Pyles, and great-grandchildren Mary-Rose Burton & Dexter Worthington . She also leaves behind her siblings, Qwen McQuene, Dan Prindle, William Carr, and Irene Wilt, who will keep her memory alive within their hearts.
She is reunited in death with her beloved parents, Elmer and Esther Carr, her dear brother Roger Carr, and her treasured grandson, Christopher Wilt, who predeceased her.
An avid gardener, Emily found immense pleasure intending to her plants and flowers. Her garden was a testament to her love for nature and her capacity to nurture life. This love of gardening left a lasting impact, creating an oasis of peace and beauty for those who had the privilege of witnessing it.
Emily's loss will be deeply felt by her extended family, friends, and all who knew her. She possessed a kindness that enriched the lives of those around her, and her memory will forever blossom in the hearts of those she touched.
In her honor, we are initiating a fundraiser for the Pet foundation, an organization Emily held close to her heart. This fundraiser is a tribute to Emily's unwavering love for animals and her dedication to their care and protection. Her compassion for animals was a significant part of her life, and through this gesture, we strive to continue her mission.
For those who wish to carry on Emily's legacy, we invite you to contribute to the Pet foundation. Donations can be made at the following URL: https://everloved.com/life-of….
