Emiliana "Emmie" Yabot Keith was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was born on January 5, 1950 in Tondo district in Manila, Philippines and passed away peacefully at Kaiser Hospital in South San Francisco, California on April 18, 2022. Emmie was the youngest child of Generoso Yabot and Francesca Liwanag. Her memory will forever be remembered by her surviving beloved only child/daughter, Cherwin, and her husband Oliver Carpio; treasured granddaughters Ava, Emma, Kiara, and AJ along with other cherished family members and friends who were blessed to know her. Emmie was a sweet, strong-willed, generous, and loving person who touched many lives as a member of several faith groups throughout her life and especially as a parochial teacher for over 40 years. She enjoyed praying, dancing/singing, spending time with her family, going out to eat at restaurants, hanging out with friends, and talking on the phone. She devoted her life to her faith and the church, and was always there for all those she loved. Emmie lived a tremendous life of service and simple joys. Her smile, her voice, her laughter will forever be missed but her heart and soul will never be forgotten.
