The words that come to mind when I think of Auntie Emilia are warmth, generosity, faithfulness, joy and love. The tortillas she used to make for our family were her signature dish that everyone talked about and loved. It seems that she always thought of others first. Living in Canada, we always missed so many family events, and I wish I could have spent more time with her. I’m sad to know she is gone, but I’m happy that she is in Heaven, with no pain or cares, and is with her Lord Jesus. We will meet again someday.
