"When you lose a loved one, their spot in your heart is torn out, leaving a jagged hole. But soon that hole is filled with love and memories, and the edges soften. The hole never goes away; it is a tribute to the memory of the one who was lost. It is a scar, but not the kind that lessens beauty. It is one that you can show proudly to the world and say, "This person was so loved that they touched my very being". Rest in peace our beloved Emerald. You leave behind many who love you and a world that is much better place because of you. The hearts of many is forever changed, Until we meet again. Enjoy your freedom from pain and suffering, thank you for all the memories." ~Kay.
