Emanual's obituary
With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Emanual "Eman" Phillips, a cherished soul who left us on Feburary 1, 2024. Born on July 27, 1984, Eman was known for his spirited personality and zest for life, leaving a deep and lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Emanuel was a beacon of love and familial devotion who always found himself at the heart of every celebration. He was a man of great energy and charisma, always the life of the party, lighting up any room he graced with his infectious laughter and warmth.
The greatest testament to his vibrancy are his beautiful children, EJ and Emma, who are incontrovertibly his proudest accomplishments. In their eyes, we see Eman's spirit and love for life continue to shine brightly, a testament that his legacy will forever remain in their hearts.
Eman's life was filled with lessons that revolved around embracing every moment and living life to its fullest. These lessons, among others, will continue to guide those he has left behind on how to navigate their own journeys.
He is survived by his loving wife Danielle Phillips, son Ej, daughter Emma, father Earnest Phillips, mother Cheryl Victorian, step-mother Marva Hargrove, father Dewayne Reed, siblings Jerrill Victorian, Tony Johnson, Kristen Jones, Christopher Brown, Patrick Freeman and Anntrinque Lewis-Small, a host of uncles, aunties, nieces and nephews who will forever hold precious memories of him in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Phillips. Grandmother’s Mildridge Eden, Essie Pierce & Ruth Reed. Grandfather’s John Henry Eden & Earnest Reed Sr.
We celebrate Emanuel’s life and know that even though he’s no longer present he’s forever in our hearts.
