Background
After being diagnosed with a rare kidney disease, Elvie was given the gift of time through a kidney transplant in July of 2010. That transplant not only saved her life, but it also allowed us to share many more precious years together—years we wouldn’t have had without the incredible work of the OHSU Organ Transplant Center. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to this institution. Thank you for honoring her memory in this meaningful way.
