My second Mom. Cathy, daughter, and I were always together in our earlier years!  Spent many hours in the Byers home. Loved her potato salad along with many other dishes. So many memories of her crocheting and watching her daily soap!  Hair was never out of place and such a Lady!!  Loved her kitty also. Such a beautiful, gracious woman. She will be missed. 🌺💗 Sherry Jones Lee
We are sorry to hear the passing of your mom.  She was the sweetest lady and always had a smile. She did very tedious retouching on all portraits back in the day. Appreciated her dedication to her job. Our prayers for peace and comfort are with your family. Gary and Connie Fail

Angie: "Grandma Elsie would always hold my hands and talk with me when we were visiting. I think it was her way to slow me down long enough to listen. I love that she did the very same thing with our Aiden. I love this photo so much. We love you Grandma Elsie/GG.

I always loved to look at GGs paintings she had on the wall next to her Bird Watching Window Room. She gave it to me as a gift because it was my favorite!

Angie's favorite memories with Grandma Elsie

I got to spend many spring breaks with Grandma Elsie and Grandpa Don when I was in school

Grandma Elsie taught me how to paint like Bob Ross when I was younger.

Grandma Elsie went RV Camping for the first time at 88 years old!

Mark and I went with Grandma Elsie and Grandpa Don to many Country Music Shows and also took a vacation to Branson with them before Mark and I were married. Another funny story is while in Branson, we all decided to go play miniature golf. Well my sweet husband, clumsy as he can be, was trying to get a golf ball that fell in a blue-dyed pond and he fell right in! Of course he only packed one pair of shoes for this trip so Grandma and I spent HOURS using a hairdryer to dry Marks shoes!

Angie: "Grandma came to visit us in our cabin while Mom was in the hospital and she and Aiden (and I) had the best time bird watching. I’m so thankful for that day."

Angie: "I loved playing Old Made with Grandma Elsie when I was little. She had the very best set too with “Petunia Pill” and “Dippy Dabb”.
