Elodia's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elodia "GG" Haro, who gently departed this world on March 21, 2025, at the age of 96. Known lovingly by many as GG, she was born on July 28, 1928, and lived a life beautifully marked by love, kindness, and generosity.
Elodia is survived by her daughter, Rita Ruvalcaba, her grandchildren Marina Orozco, Hailey Juarez, and David Orozco, as well as her five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her dear husband, Hilario Haro.
Known for her warm and loving personality, Elodia was a pillar of strength and kindness in her family and community. She firmly believed in the importance of family and emphasized the value of spending quality time together. This sentiment will continue to resonate with her loved ones and will be one of the many lessons she leaves behind.
Among Elodia's many life accomplishments, she notably retired from the LA County School District. She was incredibly proud of raising three daughters who went on to lead successful careers. A testament to her nurturing nature, she had the joy of seeing her family grow, with her lineage extending to five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Elodia leaves behind a powerful legacy of love, kindness, and generosity. Her unwavering commitment to these virtues will continue to inspire her family and all those who knew her. Even though Grandma GG is no longer with us, her spirit is enduring, and she will forever live on in our hearts.
