the first time I met elly was the summer of 1980 when they moved into my grandparents former farm house I was fifteen when I met her and roger and the children they lived here until the fall of 1982 when they moved away to florida I kept in touch by phone and letters then they moved to new holland pa in 1986 then I was able to drive to visit them when ever I could then they ended moving back to florida Elly was my best friend she will be really missed by me
When Durk and I married , I gained another sister. We understood each other and connected right away. They came to visit us a few years ago and we went to Glimmerglass and enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach . She will be missed but we will see her again !!!
Elly was my Grandma and we were very close, I would go to her house everyday before I was able to start school. She would take me to the park and to Lapp Valley Farm. (the kitty farm as I named it) She would take me on walks around the park and teach me the different types of leaves. We had so much fun together and she will forever be missed here and will always be in my heart. She will never truly be gone.
Elly was our beloved friend and wonderful mother-in-law to our daughter. She is greatly loved and will be missed here on earth, but we share her joyous celebration in heaven with her Lord, Jesus and with all her loved ones that have gone before
