Quotes:
The best part about Ellis was, he would have stories to tell for days, even though I knew some of what he said was made up just to make himself look good. LOL! I'm going to miss him. I wish we had just a little bit more time with him. He talked a lot of mess but overall he taught me so much about life and all that comes with it. –Kira
Ellis was a great pop pop and a funny father. He had so much love and smiles for the broken hearted. He hid pain in the funniest ways. One saying he had was, "it's a lousy deal but it's all you got" and his laughter afterwards would make you think and smile. What he said was the truth and I understand that now in LIFE and every situation that life brings. With the life he lived, he just wanted everyone to smile, grateful that they’ve met, argued, loved, disagreed, fought, agreed, drank a beer, sat in the Kingdom Hall with a real GHEE. And that's real love!
