Elliot's obituary

It is with deep sorrow we share the news of the passing of Elliot Bailey, aka "Captain Elliot". Born on August 29, 2022, this gentle soul left us too soon on May 18, 2024.

Elliot was a special child whose calm, sweet, loving and cuddly personality was infectious and left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege to know him. He was a beacon of strength and resilience, radiating warmth and positivity. His life, though short, was full of meaningful lessons, noble deeds, and moments of joy.

Elliot taught us to believe in miracles and the power of prayer. He demonstrated this through fighting many battles and overcoming challenges. His testimony prompted those around him to never give up hope. He was a living testament to the strength and power of optimism, faith, and perseverance.

One of Elliot's greatest accomplishments was bringing others to know Jesus. Since the beginning of his life he was an example of strength and illuminated the lives of those around him, establishing a spiritual connection that surpassed the constraints of time. His actions and the love he bestowed upon others created a ripple effect, transforming lives and sparking a spiritual awakening in many.

Elliot's legacy is one of hope, love, faith, and selfless giving. He has left a profound impact on this world through donating his organs, thus giving other children a chance at a better life. We are heartened to know that his spirit lives on not only in our memories but also in the lives of those he has saved. This legacy of his warrior spirit will always be revered and remembered.

Elliot Bailey will be deeply missed, but his teachings, his spirit, and the love he shared will forever be engraved in our hearts. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, he is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

Elliot is survived by his loving mother, Madison Bailey. The bond and love shared between them was a sight to behold, a testament to the power of a mother's love. He is survived by his loving father, Kevin Bailey. The love that they shared was strong and undeniable. A bond that can never be broken. He is survived by his big sister, Emersyn Bailey. They were only 15 months apart and had the sweetest love for each other.

Elliot is survived by his maternal grandmother, Allison Wright, aka “Lolli”. As well as his paternal grandmother, Ellen Bailey, aka “MaeMae” and paternal grandfather, David Bailey, aka “Papa”.

A memorial service for Elliot will be held on May 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM at C3 Church Atlanta.

As we mourn the loss of our beloved Captain Elliot, we recognize the immeasurable impact he had during his short time on earth. His teachings, spirit, and legacy will forever be cherished and continue to inspire us to live courageously, love deeply, and believe in the power of miracles.
