Ellen's obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Meli, a remarkable woman of resilient spirit and boundless love. Ellen was born on January 26, 1946, and peacefully left this world on April 9, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, strength, and unity.

Her love for her family. Ellen is survived by her cherished children, her daughter Shari Meli, and her son Stephen Meli. Her life was filled with joy and fulfillment when she welcomed her children into the world on April 4, 1973 and May 20, 1969. Her grandchildren who she adored, were a constant source of her happiness.

As we remember Ellen, we also pay homage to her late family members. She was predeceased by her caring parents, S. Robert Tuck and Phyllis Tuck, and her beloved sister, Suzanne Bennish. Their memory lived on in Ellen’s heartfelt stories and deep-seated values she passed on to her children.

Ellen will forever be remembered as a beacon of wisdom, strength, and love. Her legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She taught us all to choose kindness, embrace joy, and live life with unabashed generosity.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be sent via Venmo to @Shari-Meli. Her spirit will continue to guide us, and her memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Though she may no longer be in our world, Ellen's love and resilience will continue to impact those who knew her.
