It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ellen "Kip" Hogan, who peacefully left us on August 2, 2024.
Ellen Joan Kipness (Kip) was born November 24, 1945 in Atlantic City to Mollie and Sam Kipness, owners of a liquor store in the Chelsea section of the city which was primarily black. She had a brother Marc who was 7 years older. She had extended family in the city which was pretty …
