Ellen Frances Gallagher 12/14/42 – 5/22/24

On May 22 , 2024, Ellen Gallagher passed away peacefully at the age of 81.

A long-time resident of College Point (Queens, NY), Ellen spent the last few

years in Huntington New York with her loving husband Richard who she

was married to for over 60 years and shared countless cherished memories

and unwavering love. Ellen was the heart of our home and family and the

proud Mother of 4 children. Doreen, John, James and Keith, were raised in

a happy and loving home whose lives she touched with her kindness,

wisdom and undying support. Each were proud to call her mom. Her

greatest joy was her grandchildren Shannon and Patrick, who at the mere

mention of their names made her eyes light up and put a smile on her face.  

Ellen was a friend to many, always ready to offer a listening ear, wise

advice, and a cup of tea. She will be dearly missed. Though Ellen may have

left this earthy realm, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those

who were fortunate enough to know her. Forever loved, forever missed,

forever remembered.
