A little town, a little school—but we were the luckiest of kids because we had Ella Jo as our teacher.  Matthias, thinking of you.

Sometimes I look at this page just to smile... Ella Jo, you are so loved.  And you loved so much and so well.

She was a great lady and teacher at Gilmanton school. My children liked her. She helped tutor our son in Algebra before he went into the service. After Nicholas was KIA in Iraq she came to his funeral. I always respected and liked her. My condolences to her family.
So sorry to hear of Ella Joe's passing. She touched so many lives with kindness, encouragement, and patience. I will always be grateful for her influence on me as a child and remember our trips together fondly.

I taught for several years with Ella at Gilmanton school. I will always remember her work ethic,  kindness and sense of fairness. I respected her many skills. I enjoyed her humor and willingness for taking an adventure,  like a canoe ,camping weekend to Lake Umbagog. That is a memory I will cherish. She touched many lives  including mine.❤️
Ella Jo Regan was my favorite teacher by far. She was a fantastic storyteller with an amazing sense of humor. I have fond memories of sitting at her kitchen table with Rachel, talking with her. And her laugh was spectacular.
She was the best teacher! So generous with her time and really encouraged any interest. And what a laugh!

Ella, I worked with you years ago at Gilmanton Elementary (1989-1994) and thought the world of you. I taught 5th grade and  looked up to you and the new teaching strategies you fostered. I’ve never forgotten you.

Ella was a giver; whether it was for the homeless shelter at church, People Helping People,  Easter and Christmas Family program, SHE WAS THERE!

Ella, you will be missed and feel free to give me a smile when you hear me play the flute at church.

Peace my friend.
